Colleen Brownridge

Frosting on Top is a cake shop located in the charming town of Wellesley. It specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies for any occasion. The shop opened its doors in late 2010 and was founded by Colleen Brownridge. Her love of baking and decorating cakes started when she was a child and got an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas. So it just seems fitting that she should choose to make a career creating cakes.

And, who doesn't like cake?

Colleen graduated from Klara Johnson's School of Confectionery and Pastry Arts, where she learned her craft and earned certificates in Professional Cake Decorating, Sugarpaste, Sugar Flower, as well as Royal Icing and Piping.

She enjoys making cakes for all occasions, whether its for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or just because. (She even made her own wedding cake).

Being the owner of her one-woman company allows Colleen to let her creativity run free, producing unique, delicious desserts.
